The actual gameplay was sublime, lovely art controls and ease of playing. But ,as I'm sure has been mentioned, the fact that this is essentially a demo/advert for your site is a big letdown, the point of games on Newgrounds is so people can play them all. If you wanted you could have 'extra levels and characters on our site' but the shameless website-promoting of this game felt a big letdown to me.

Full game would have got at least 7 stars.

I feel the best part, despite the pristine artwork and animation was the script. It set us up to see a light-hearted, sunday morning style cartoon, making the end scene, which wouldn't have caused any interest normally, all the more grotesque.

Kudos to the voice acting as well.

The concept and gameplay is great, the art and animation id fine, if a little misleading at times (things like the lines over the screen to give that 'old film' look)
I'm also not entirely sure about the choice of music.

This was a genuinely imaginative and incredibly well done flash, the fact that it was a 'fan cartoon' took nothing away from the overall effectiveness, Voices and audio=perfect, animation=perfect...etc etc, I am hard pressed to find anything negative about it.

Id've been more impressed if you had actually made a flip-book animation, but it looked effective the way you did it. It all felt very slick, although the final flash segment felt a bit of a letdown in quality.

This had a very nice style to it, it felt very fresh and original, but sometimes seemed that it was relying on the refined art rather than actual animation, the music seemed to fit the image.
I would like to see some more flash using these characters, maybe experimenting with a plot, as this one felt more like a showcase of concept art.

This was a very well made game. Nice level design, easy controls, memorable.
only problems I do have are; the obvious synj inspiration in the artwork and some damage parameters during boss battles which did sometimes feel a bit irrelevant.
Apart from that-very nice.
